As part University Mental Health Day, the Student Wellbeing Service hosted 3 Therapet sessions for students on Thursday, 13 March 2025. Several students were able to take a well-deserved break and spend time with specially approved therapy dogs! This relaxing and uplifting event was open to all students. Beyond the joy of meeting these wonderful dogs, this event was a chance for students to learn about the fantastic wellbeing support available to them at the University. After each Therapets session, one of our Wellbeing Advisers guided the students to our office at the Wilkie Building, where they enjoyed a free hot drink, browsed our bake sale, and had a chance to connect with various support services dedicated to helping students maintain their mental health and wellbeing.
