Take 5 - An event in collaboration with Active Lives

The Take 5 Programme is a partnership between Active Lives and the Student Wellbeing Service, designed to support students in making positive lifestyle changes through physical activity and wellbeing education.Over eight weeks, participants will take part in supportive and engaging sessions that explore how movement can positively impact mental wellbeing. Guided by Student Wellbeing Advisors, students will learn practical wellbeing strategies while enjoying a variety of fun, activity-based sessions delivered by the Active Lives team. Each week focuses on one of the Five Ways to Wellbeing, encouraging participants to learn, get active, connect with others, and reflect on how physical activity can enhance their mood and overall wellbeing.

All workshops are delivered in person, providing opportunities to participate, connect with others, and engage directly with the session content.
If you are unable to attend in person, you will have the option to attend the session remotely. Workshop materials can be accessed online or provided as downloadable PDF guides, allowing you to work through the content at your own pace.

Next programme start date: 30th September 2026. See table below for programme schedule.
