12 March 2026 was University Mental Health Day, with this year’s theme focusing on the power of human connection.
To celebrate this awareness day, the Student Wellbeing Service along with a fantastic group of support services came together to host a pop-up event to help students and staff learn more about the resources and activities available across the university to strengthen connection and a sense of belonging.
The event took place in the Nucleus Building and included the Student Wellbeing Service, EUSA, Sports Union Clubs, Active Lives, Penumbra and Health in Mind. It was a joy to see strong engagement, with over 300 students and staff dropping by to connect (and have some fun) throughout the day.
