Join us for a walk in and around the Kings Buildings campus and nearby Blackford Hill nature reserve, where you can enjoy connecting with the natural environment. This walk will also give you the opportunity to start learning how to identify local birds, bees, butterflies and wildflowers. After the walk we will return to Murchison House for refreshments.
• Meet outside Murchison House, Kings Buildings.
• Walk will start at 2:00 pm prompt and will last around 1.5 hours.
• The walk will involve a moderate climb and at times the terrain will be uneven and potentially muddy. We will also need to use some stairs at one point.
• Please wear appropriate footwear and bring some water.
• Bring binoculars if you have them.
• Refreshments will be available on our return to Murchison House.
• Note: The walk will not go ahead if it is raining.
